Welcome to the all-new, extensive calcbond Wiki. Here you will find all there is to know about the platform and its features as well as adhesive bonding technology.
The online-based application „calcbond“ is a tool with the aim to enable users to do high quality calculations of bonded joints, without being an expert in bonded joint calculations. Parametric description of geometries and loadcases allow efficient workflows and low margin for error. The platform offers a variety of calculation methods and failure criteria to choose from as well as the ability to choose between two isotropic adherends, two composite adherends or one of each combined. The calcbond tool comes with an evergrowing database of adhesives and materials to choose from.
This Wiki is divided into different subjects:

We are constantly improving calcbond and are eager to learn more about your needs. This means that the platform is constantly being developed to implement new features, improve existing features and extend the knowledge base.
Next up is a feature extension of the Material Cards module. Soon, users will be able to add and save their own custom material cards in calcbond! Just as the manufacturer specific material cards, the user-defined material card will be able to hold basic and advanced, temperature-dependant engineering data. Stay tuned for further updates!
